











In January 2007, Yvette and Sean travelled to Mali in West Africa to photograph the Festival au Desert. The festival, held by the Tuareg, the blue people of the Sahara, is a three day musical event and considered the world's most remote festival.
The task was to capture the textures, colours and forms of an environment and atmosphere so exotic to most: a sensory feast of beautiful people, ornate costumes, ancient musicianship and the surreal Saharan landscape
